MOUTH-FULL is Grognard, not Avant Garde

We are going meta today. We must, after a very inspiring mfoodbloggersymposiumin Copenhagen last weekend, have stated what size this blog is.


Inspiration for much more
There were tons of inspiration and during the day it dawned on me how serious I mean this. This blog will be addressed to real people, it will propose, amend and circumvent the conventions of Danish food culture, food debate and the daily struggle the individual consumer leads, to find head and tail of something as simple as a meal.

Most importantly, as told inlays from Trine-Maria and Kasper Bergholt, that blogging can make a difference to the blogger. Not in the sense that perhaps the direct dream;
- "Man, where would it be cool to be able to make a living blogging."
But more to all this thinking, all this writing and real craving, actually makes a difference in the physical life. This blog can be created contacts with a great many people and thus may create fertile ground for further work on the subject. Perhaps an obvious idea for some, but it was not exactly for me at the symposium.
Something that was well backed up by observations from the natural world by reports from Lilleø Wine (Anders Selmer), Friis-Holm (chocolate maker Mikkel Friis-Holm) and fødevareinspiratoren couple exelence; Claus Meyer.

It was also exciting to follow the debate on how blogs in general, affects the surrounding community. After see-me-hear-me-blogs was declared dead a few years ago, niche blogs are now on the rise, particularly fashion blogs were mentioned.

Is MOUTH-FULL then Avant Garde; into the forefront of generating news and trends with the latest beats within gastronomy, commentary and participating on the latest places? No, it is not.
This blog is "une Grognard", named after the most faithful of the faithful in Napoleon's army. Soldiers, with so much dedication and experience that they alone dared speak directly against the emperor in his precense. The Old Guard, who waited while their Emperor was in exile and who left their civilian duties, when he again came up, hand under his coat. Warriors, whose motto was "The Guard dies, but never surrenders."

This blog love for food and its importance for our social wellfare, our diet and our future, so much that we dare to speak when the actual producers, intermediaries and customers have been misled.



This blog does follow, however, a new trend in our all media and view the world. It is independent.

Free from constraints of any kind, free to mention, praise and chastise; it deems best when it deems best. When MOUTH-FULL is saying that this is a good piece of meat, a good article, an interesting development, well, then it comes from the heart, for it is written in dedication to the item's essence, without regard to either the sender or recipient. Respect for the topic food everywhere.



In short, MOUTH-FULL is a politically oriented blog about food. Lots of opinions about the surrounding world over food.
